Hi all, gonna explain this as simple as possible.

I have a W800i and an MSI Btoes 3X dongle. To my knowledge, both are having bluetooth version 2.0. The question is: why is the transfer speed from phone to pc maxed at 20kB/s and the transfer speed from pc to phone is maxed at 40kB/s? I thought bluetooth 2.0 maximum transfer speed is like 3Mbps?

Anyone has any idea why or how to bump up the speed? Driver problem or what? Thanks =)

It's serial port emulation only unfortunantly. I just transferred a 1.58MB file to the phone in 45 seconds. that equates to 36Kbps. I think it's pretty standard.

... besides BT has it's own speed limit, it wouldn't matter if you plug it in a USB 1, USB 2, PCI Express or FireWire; you'll always get the same speed according to the BT version specifications.
