Hi all,
thanks u. it worked. now i am able to see the folders in the file manager.
steps:
(if you have already installed the software on the PC)
1. disconnected the mobile from PC
2. removed the usb cable that connected to PC
3. inserted the CD -> selected the langauage -> selected uninstall and
I unistalled the pc suite using the CD.
4. again connected my mobile via usb cable to PC
5. went to Device manager(right click mycomputer icon -> select properties -> select Hardware tab -> select device manager (win 2000)
6. removed the entries(starting with sony ericsson..) under port(COM & LPT1) and also under unverisal serial bus controller.
7. disconnected the mobile from PC and restarted the computer.
8. inserted the PC suite CD and installed the PC suite software
9. connected the mobile via USB cable to PC and it automatically recognises the device and installs the usb drivers.
10. go to windows explorer(right click on the start menu and select explore)
11. now you will notice on the left-hand side, the SONY ERICSSON FILE MANAGER and under my computer, "REMOVABLE DISK"(which is the memory duo) .
12. wait for few seconds till you see 'a phone icon with a green tick(right symbol) on your task bar towards your right buttom.
note : it take time to change from phone symbol to phone with yellow tick and then to phone with green tick on the tak bar , only then you will be able to see the folder int eh file manager)
13. then remove your CD and then try to access/ open the folder.
it will work
regards
