Well my first mobile communication device was the nokia 1610, most people don't know it, it was the original brick . 8 got me a 5110 after that which seemed sooo sophisticated compared to it. Now 10 years later I use a k-jam and a N70. couldn't dream of it back then. Even the concept models of back then have become obsolete now .

I had a Phillips Fiz when they came out then got rid of it for a Ericsson G500. Was a bit of a brick, but a small brick.

i remember pager companies had promos free pagers and free email forwarding to pager just to gain costumers but they dont realize that text messaging knock them down they should have been prepared just what blackbery did a two way pager, that prevent customer from looking for a land line or cellphone just to reply for a message, what if your in the mountains or the middle of the ocean on a ship.

well things changed what is left are memories sometimes i just laugh at it.....

My first phone was a Siemens S3 (not the + version). =)
This must've been back in 1994-95 something.

My first was a seconhand Nokia brick. Had a pull out aerial. Can't remember model name, but battery went flat very quickly. Not what you could call pocket-sized!
