T68i is the best phone, despite competition! |

I got my t68i in mid June and was over the moon at the time. Then when i saw that nokia were bringing out 7650 and 7210, and also samsung were bringing out colour phones (all with 4096 colours) i was worried that it would fall behind. At one point i was trying to sell my phone to purchase a 7650. I bought the camera at the start of July and wasn't too impressed with it, the on-screen pictures were somewhat average and unclear.
However, I have recently set up email so I can email my pics, and ordered an hbh-30 headset and can't wait. I've also found plenty of cool pictures and themes on wap to make the phone look even cooler.
I'm in love with the phone again and it's better than all other phones I have concluded.
When looking at the same pictures taken with the 7650 and t68i, the t68i pics were much better and more accurate. Also I noticed that only data can be sent via bluetooth with the 7650. Also, it appears that the 7210 is missing bluetooth making it useless for data transfer, and meaning that you can only use those pathetic nokia handsfree with wires. The p800 should be an excellent phone, but the size, weight and weird keypad make it slighty a hassle.
The t68i is small and light and has almost, infact, every feature I can think of. The brilliant blue keypad lights make it even more attractive than any other phone in the dark, and that bluetooth led.
Nokia are simply wasting time and walking out the competition by producing phones that you can't even fit in your pocket, samsung are continually producing phones with no features like bluetooth, and the battery life is poor, also no camera can be attatched. Motorola are doing alright, but their new third generation phone still okks quite bulky.
SE have got this one just right, well done! |

True, but they still got like 90% of the market.
And people will still be stupid enough to buy big nokia phones cause of nokias commercial everywhere. Too bad, those people will miss out on ericssons quality.
It's a shame that ericsson was run by people who didn't care about the company.
They ran it straight down the drain, collected as much money as possible, moved it abroad and soled it, then got away with the money.
Pricks..

@silence. Glad to see you're happy with your phone. I am certain the great majority of members in this forum will secon that. Personally I am so proud of my phone that my wife has threatened to throw it out the window, I just can't stop fiddling with it. Playing games, wapsurfing, sorting out contacts... You name it. I can hardly put it away, and I got mine when it first hit the shelves after having had the t68m since day one! Still a happy fellow I am.

Yeh, its true about nokia how they have the largest share or the market, and I can see why. They were the cutting edge, mainly because not many other manufacturers concentrated on the factors that they did, such as: size and weight, user interface, and general design.
In May last year, I had already owned a 7110 and 3310 but when my 3310 got lost I had to chose a new phone. I ended up chosing the Sony CMD-J5 as it had speakerphone, a 4 colour greyscale screen and was remarkabley thin... no qualities seen in any nokia phones till the 7210, (8210 was thin, but had no features at all).
I think though, that prople are gradually moving away from nokia into other brands. All nokia phones seem to be the same inside, just slightly different outside. Sony have had some pretty good phones, and now that they have merged with ericsson makes the best duo in mobile telecommunications.
Another good thing; the prices are not too high with SE phones. Nokia's 8910, even thoguh it is made of titanium, is selling for almost £600 sim free im i'm right. Still a black and white screen, really not worth the money when you can pick up a t68i for under £00 now on expansys! |

silence: true true,i agree with u!
I think the Nokia is trying to replace the good old model 8850 with its 8910, well...unlike the good old days, the looks of the phone really matters much and ppl are willing o pay large sum of $$ just to get it,as like for the 8850 which is a trademark model for nokia, but now with all the tech stuff which can be easily packed into a mobile phone, ppl will tend look at the features and functions as well as the design of the phone
I'll say the sale of 8910 will not last that long as consumers are getting smarter |
