Ok i have some question on notes
(trust me ive used the search for long time but didnt find answers)
1) What is the max length allowed for notes?
2) i found out outlook worked to syncronize notes. Dont want to install outlook.
I also found that u can send .vnf files to ur mobile ONLY VIA INFRARED/BT (no usb) and the k750 will put it in the 'notes'. However is there no 'quicker' way to send it? i found no software for winXP that allowed me to read/send notes to my phone.
So the only way to transfer notes is to send the .vnf files via BT/IR ?
3) No programs that allow me to send/recieve notes?
thanks guys |

try FloAt's Mobile agent! it has notes support although i have never tried it (I have a T226) but it should work with newer phones such as K700. download at sf.fma.net after tha, you configure it (use the search cuz I can't remember right now) but that program also does many other things.

Yuo are asking about the max length of the note.
As a curious person I wrote a test note to see the limit. I did the dirty work and know the answer.
The other way to find out the limit is by using floAt's Mobile Agent and send a note with it by pasting a long text into the text field and then send it to K750. As you view the received note, you'll see only part of the original text. Cut this part from the original and save it as new txt file. Open the file with any Text Editor capable to make a word (character) count.
You'll notice that the note written with K750 is slightly longer than sent by fMA. Quite easy, isn't it? |
