Right, I've probably read over a 100 posts about the k700i Vodafone and my question remains still unanswered. Most of the threads were made in 2003-04 so I'm hoping some things have chanaged as of now.
I got the Vodafone k700i today but went to a independant shop to unlock straight away. So, luckily, I am able to use my o2 sim card at the least. However, as you already know, the phone can't use mp3s as ring tones and there's all that horrible theme and changed icons.
I'm wondering, since it's now 2006, has there been any firmware that has been released that allows me to unbrand my phone? If so what's the easiest way to go about doing so? (Preferably for free !)
