Hello--

I am looking for any way to preserve the time stamps of my sent sms (with w800i) when I download them to my pc.

Any help appreciated,

All best,

The internal sms format (PDU) does not store date/time information for outgoing sms.

I am thinking if an internal java application can store outgoing SMSs in another format and keep date/time info

I wonder why SE chose not to include the time stamp in the PDU, it seems kind of weird.
What would be really cool would be a java app that reads the proprietary date stamp, and re-saves it with the message but this time in the PDU. Any idea how hard this would be to write, and if the relevant docs would be available to developers ?

Although I'd be glad to find any app that lets me save those date stamps.

Thanks for answering,
