I don't know the code mate, but I'm sure you can unlock it using da vinci for around £6.

better to just look at the davinci site

unfortunately they dont list unlocking for the W900 yet and if they did, you normally cannot use the supplied cable, you need a different cable which they can sell you for 25 euros. I got one recently and unlocked my daughter Z520

Yeah, I checked it out, seems like they dont have the option at da vinci yet. There is a Vodafone unlocking site here but it'll only save you a fiver, they charge £14.99, Hope this Helps

@batesie, where do you see that? I see what you say but under the heading of "Online Flashing, Language Changing and Operator Decustomization", not under the heading of "Online Unlocking"

I'm sure from all the threads I have read here that you can't use the supplied cable for unlocking but you can use them for flashing etc

edit: btw, I have never had a single reply from davinci when I have emailed them, not even when I was chasing up the late delivery of my unlock cable, so don't hold your breath!

You may be able to pull a fast one on Vodafone, I heard bout this elsewhere, not sure tho. Am gonna give it a try myself soon enough. Well what you do is call up Vodafone and tell them you got a contract through but your number is being ported over, and meanwhile you wanna use your old simcard in it cause its still holds your current number, and they might go and give you the unlock code for free!

May work...may not work...worth a shot!

Hope it helps, if it dont work then slap out £20 for it i guess! Think this site does it - http://www.vodafoneunlockcodes.co.uk/ *Also think its mentioned before).

My advice would be for the small amount extra it makes sense to get the unlock code direct from Voda as at least then if whilst flashing to latest software the phone locks again you have the original code and some one who will be obliged to unlock your phone again for free. Cheap usually works out more expensive in the long run.
