I am quite a new poster but i have been a old reader (gainer) of Esato forum. Somehow the general speed of Esato has come down. At least i wish a better pace in this new year onwards. All of us have a role in making it more active. Cheers!!

You said it yourself there mate. As you've been lurking in the background for a while, you should certainly try and post more now

Absolutely i agree, you make esato busy by posting and getting involved in discussions,I don't have a problem with lurkers as such but i think their feedback and participation is very important.

on the other hand i think it has been a little quite lately due to the holiday season and members doing other stuff, but thats normal for this time of year.Im sure things will swing back to normal now as the celebrations are over. [addsig]

Yup..there's only as much that a handful of regular posters can do to improve the "pace factor" ... As posted on this forum not too long ago, the number of new members joininj esato seems to be growing consistently...but the same cannot be said for the number of regular posters

I've noticed a surge in posts once a new model gets released/unveiled.
All the older models have been discussed to death on this forum so I wouldn't be chatting about unlocking my K700 coz I know how to get it done.

I think the vast majority of new members are simply creating a user to view photos on the forum. Much I like I did when I first came here, but then I began asking a few questions, got involved and now look, over 1300 posts! lol
