Haha! Ever since my T65 I've had the creaks. Superglue would certainly shut it up, but I hate to think how you'd go if the cover ever had to be removed by a service centre!
I've got a bit of paper towel down the back of my battery pack, but it really doesn't make a huge difference sadly!

It's the same for me, I have tried to fix it with paper without any luck. When i tightened the screws on the back for the first time it help a bit but after a few days it was back to "normal" again. Onyone tried a new (not genuine) cover? |

What are you complaining about?
It is not a default, it is a feature.
So that everyone knows from far away that you own a marvelous SE phone.

my k750 back doesn't creak when it's in it's cover, which is where I keep it most the time.
So the creaking thing doesn't worry me. The phone electronics is A1, so I would consider the case problem "aesthetic" (but if the phone is used without a case, it could become irritating I admit.)

I agree with you that generally it is a good phone, but at more then 400 bucks one would expect a hig end phone...and a squeaking back cover is antything but high end. but then again, as michka said, one can see that as a feature is one is an optimist |

Mine fits great at the mo, and doesn't creak at all. I could live with that but I wouldn't be happy if with the slightest touch of the battery cover and it were to open.
I would complain an ask for a replacement mate.

hmmm, my batt cover has never come off - if anything it's a little hard to remove.
The W800 however doesn't have this squeeking problem - the design of the W800 battery cover and back cover is not conducive to squeeking the way the K750 is. (probably just an accident)

I have your solution buddy ! DON'T touch the phone. Put it in the window and use it as a ornament. If you really 'have' to use it remove the battery + cover and the problem will go away. You may experience some difficulties when trying to switch it on. This in turn can be solved by leaving it off.;-) Huh, another few tips and I've almost got 500 postings on Esato ! Happy New Year from South Africa. Mario ;-)

mario I've never seen you offer any constructive advice or tips yet. All you do is dump on SE phones. It get's a bit wearisome.; If you had an open mind, and were genuinely interested in helping people, then I wouldn't mind your presence here.
As it is though I wish you'd go back to your Nokia world and stop coming here spreading shit...

my w800īs batt cover is also a bit squeaky and the right side of the cover comes off more easily than the left one. Actually the right side felt squeaky while the right side was very well adjusted. However, after a few weeks the left side doesnt feel a bit loose or squeaky any more, i guess after pressing the batt cover against the phone several times due to daily usage it got better. I suggest u give it a few days. If that doesnt work try removing the batt cover and very gently start bending it a bit at the spot where it gets loose when inserted on the phone. But whatch it, be gentle and repeat it several times. Your cover may be a bit crooked so this might help |
