Hi there!

Almost got an heart attack today when one of friends who was playing with my t68 droped it. luckily it stll works eventhough some of the keys seem to be loose. it also has several scratches on the cover and everytime a look at it I only see those horrible scratches. does anyone know how to get rid of those scratches?

p.s. this phone is like a magnet, everybody just wants to hold it and play with it. after this incident today however I will never ever let it out of my hands again !

Yes, I agree... CHange the cover, it is easy and relativelly cheap. An advice:
Don't put your phone on tables (or similar things) where there are many people. I keep it always in my shirt's pocket which also has a button, to secure that the phone wont jump outside my pocket . I left it once to my desk at the office, and when I returned back I saw couple of people playing with my phone!

I hate it when people play with my phone. Especially when they read my messages. Incredibly rude. I don't go reading their email !!!

hahahahaha!

you know what's worse??

i hand them my phone....
they tinker with it....

....and then they go....

"oops, i deleted all all your messages!"

yah coz of that "delete all" function they got too curious about....

another bad thing is that the inbox opens oh so slowly that people tend to keep pressing YES...which eventually leads to the deletion of the first message that appears on the inbox....

sheesh....

I've still got the plastic cover over the screen and keep it ALWAYS in my blue pouch! i don't let ANYONE touch it and I still haven't dropped it... I would feel REALLY bad if it got scratched... I had that with my other phones and after that you just want a new one...

take care

If you live in Norway or Sweden, you can buy DISPLEX at Clas Ohlson-stores.

To protect the display I just covered it by self-sticky plastic membrance (usually made for covering different documents). It took a lot of patience to cut off the actual size from that membrance..

Now I see little scratches on the membrance, BUT the display is safe.

One bad thing: the text "SonyEricsson" is statring to fade off. Previous phone, the T68 has wear-proof text "Ericsson" pressed inside of case.

But if you cover the screen and teh cover gets scratched, you are never going to take the cover off anyway so what is the point?

Yeah, I'll agree with jellyellie. I started using Displex because it is so damn irritating with screen protectors. It's like eating unwrapped candy.

Why (Sony)Ericsson and others don't use the matt-glass anymore? Like they did several years ago. I have one really old Ericsson (GH 174) - but the matt-glass of display looks like new!
