k750i & wine don't mix - help please |
MnM Joined: May 31, 2002 Posts: 185 From: Ammersmiff PM |
Spilt some wine over the key pad of my k750i. Immediately took battery out and dried over night. Phone switches on but top line of keys 1, 2 & 3 don't work. Can't even get by the phone lock which includes one of these.
Tried WD40 (carefully) on the keypad - but still no good.
Any suggestions? Anyway I can bypass the phonelock?
Thanks

I reckon the pcd needs cleaning or replacing. If its still under warranty maybe se can fix it for you. Try taking the phone apart and cleaning the keys and the pcb.

Take it to a repair center. Even thought you cant claim warranty for it, they will know how to fix it (if it can be done ). Do it soon. |
