i just got a k750i and the first thing i did was go to the SEUS. the phone came up as hong kong, and i was wondering if there would be any reason i shouldn't keep it. i'm mostly using it in the u.s.

another question is whether i could simply use new firmware from davinciteam.com to make it show up as a us/uk phone.

thanks!

no there is no reason to change it, it is meant for that part of the world so it will have those langage surrounding that part. as long as it gets reception/it's the right frequency band.

and yes you can change it with davinci if you wanted, you would need to change the cda as well or it will just do the same hk softwares again.
