Hello All,

Is there anybody in the house who have their phone's built in email send/receive capabilities usable in SMART?

I am aware of their charging rates but catch this, i only go online to our local net cafe just to check email and that will gonna worth me 20pesos. But if i will be notified in real time about coming emails, that's cool. I know i spent a lot for this phone for those features and its very frustrating that it is not presently available for use.

I need inputs here on how to set up email in my P910i and should there be any services i will be paying for that feature, i.e, POP3 access for Yahoo etc..

Please help..

Thanks..

sure it works. to download the phone settings, try texting 'set internet p910' (or use ep910 if that doesn't work) to 211.

in case the service doesn't work, just create a new data comm. account and use 'internet' as the APN.

next, set up your email accounts and make sure you set them to use the new data account you created for accessing the internet.

finally, text 'internet on' to 333 to activate your internet service. that's it!

yes sir i already did that. actually, my phone's gprs was already functional. only that my built in email client is not. can you help me which email provider offers free pop3 access to our phones (if ever there is) and how to set it up.

thanks a lot..
