I just bought a Siemens SL740 and I have some questions about it...

I wonder what file-types these are MMF and AMR I already know that these are soundfiles, but I don't know what kind of a soundfile it is, I mean which has the best quality and what can the soundfile do? Vocals? Polyphonic? Etc!

I think both formats can be used as polyphonic ring tones if your phone supports it. AMR is a normal audio format like WAV / MP3 which can be used to store any audio file. I had a Siemens M55 before and I used AMR ring tones in that (mostly converted from MP3s).

However I’m not so sure about the MMF format but there are MP3/WAV to MMF converters so I believe that also a normal audio format unlike MIDI.
