you bought a vodacrap (i mean vodafone of course...) branded W900i
your now trying to use it (after having it unlocked) on another network
oh wait, you only got it unlocked? so its still got vodacrap firmware?
ah you didn't realise that vodacrap brand their phones and also lock the settings on the data accounts also on the phone
solution: flash to generic  firmware using totalmultiserver  sorted! |

Give gbrooks a pm on www.se-nse.com See if he has the generic firmware for the W900. He does free firmware updates. All it will cost you is postage each way which should be no more than £5 RMSD each way.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

have you tried accessing Mobile TV via Vodafone Live! ???, there is usually a link for Mobile TV, btw the TV link in the Entertainment folder doesnt work, have to go via voda live!

THIS THREAD IS VERY - VERY MISLEADING.
Just to clarify:
I bought a W900i from Vodafone Experience. (Oxford Street)
I today, got it unlocked.
I have sent the settings for ORANGE MMS and GPRS to my handset, and have been sending picture messages and I am even using it to connect to Orange 3G to post this message with my POWERBOOK on the M40 coming home from Birmingham.
YOU CANNOT ACCESS VODAFONE LIVE SKY TV FROM ANY OTHER NETWORK APART FROM VODAFONE (USING A VODAFONE 3G SIM).
So the rumour that you need to debrand/flash your phone before using another portal isn't true.
