Maybe email sony direct and ask them for a fix.... but really you need to upgrade from win98 to at least 2000. Win 98 is old old old school now and unlike music the old school stuff will never make a return.

Good luck with it.

if you're on 98 becuase of a slow PC with limited resources you might find it hard going to get all the software working...

...Windows ME is probably a better minimum if you can get it...

I cann't remember if the DCU-60 drivers will work on 98, but I'm on ME and they work fine with that OS (and XP). Although I don't use the SE Software.

BlueTooth maybe a good option. I got a Belkin v2.0 + EDR for £20 at PCWorld (must be cheaper else where) and use it with My Phone Explorer to manage files etc...

Sony Ericsson software is ALL XP!!!

maybe?

plug the DCU-60 cable in the PC and attach the phone (with it on)

if auto detect doesn't start goto add new hardware...

when asked for drivers:

broswse the K750 CD

\Drivers\USB Cable

and try them.

Also:

look for

Download the drivers needed too use original DCU-60 cable.
To learn hot to use cable reffer to the manual section!

I thought it was poor showing that SE gave no driver support for K750 in win98. I haven't used it for a while but my Mum had win98 at the time.
