Previous posts have suggested that to add a new language, you have to either use Davinci or visit a Sony Service Center and ask them to do it as a favour. I just wondered- when you upgrade via the Sony Update service- I'm sure you have to input your country during the procedure. What if you simply put the country you want to add instead? For example I want Spanish.... presumably if I selected 'Spain' I would get spanish language and English would most likely be included anyway...?

English is supposed to exist anyway. Your option will be additional. (So far i know)

the phone knows what language the phone is gonna need by the cda string, that string would need to be changed for seus to always uses that lang pack, if you gonna change the cda you might as well just change the langauge or get it changed.
