Just bought one for r`maud (T-Mobile) and thought i`d stick some of my fav. tunes on it, anyway i put my SIM in and it went to a start up menu with the options to Start phone or Music only, clicked on the start phone and the message "Insert correct SIM" came up. Obviously i`ll be taking the phone back tomorrow but was just curious if anybody else has had this problem and if so how was it rectified. Cheers and have a good un
PS I didn`t come with any sim, if that makes any difference

You sure your t-mobile sim is still valid and working in other phones? Was it a contract sim, it may have run out?

Nope sims not run out and its a PAYG, I think what might have happened is, the fone came from a shop not like one of them all singin and dancin shops its just a small place in Manchester and what i think they do is just unblock all their fones to any network, because when I was buyin it i heard the fella behind the counter say to his mate "has it been unblocked". Any its goin back tomorrow and hopefully (if its possible" I want it set back to how it left the factory reason bein r maud wanted a robbiw williams w800 (which this one is) but it won`t play back the tune that comes with it. So thats my next question is it possible to set everything back to how it was made. Phewwwwwwwww i`ve never typed anythin this long before LOL

hahaha you can do a master reset. that will reset everythingggg to original.

if the phone is "unblocked" (or unlocked) then it should work no matter what.

But to do a master reset does it involve going into the menu etc, because i can`t access any of these options
