I will be purchasing a new handset so I decided to go with the jam.
But wasnt sure
1.I wanted to know that wheter the data on the jam would be lost if the battery gets drained of completely? ?2.Also I wanted to know that wheter it has equalizer settings like the xda atom? ?3.Does it have a stereo speaker?

1. the Jam has a backup battery but it drains quite quickly so once the main and backup battery are gone the data is lost except what you store in the very little non volatile storage area (cant remember right now what that's called)

windows mobile 5 devices such as k-jam have full non volatile memory and as such they don't have this problem

2. no equaliser and no stereo speakers, just a single one

again, windows mobile 5 devices have stereo speakers but windows media player still doesn't offer an equaliser.
