Never tried the Fontopias, but the HPM-70 headphones are not bad. compared to the vast majority of freebie earphones. The earplug design makes it well insulated from external noise and keeps the bass strong. However, I would say that the bass is too overpowering, and middle tones/trebles get a bit drowned out. I guess they're usable if you like too much bass, however I personally the all-round clarity from my Pioneer in-ear phones (sorry don't know model number).
And yes it comes with different size earpieces. |

I beleive that the buds in the headphone set are in fact a copy of one of the Funtopia range.... however - not too sure whick ones...
about the comparisson to the Pioneer IEMs...
I also own a pair of CL30 Pioneers.
The Sony buds are a more comfortable fit. I have to agree about the slightly too powerful bass, and that it drowns out the mids slightly. But the option of having an equaliser in the k750 help to bring that effect to a minimum.
The CL30s also boast a much clearer soundstage, and have much more air in their sound.
The SE's win in regard to volume and the "presence" of sound... |
