wanted a t68i but i wanted the ltd etd gold t68 as i know the t68i is a very common fone (just wanted to be different) so i bought the t68 gold and had software updated to t68i did i do the right thing,
ive also seen somewhere that for every 1000 gray t68's they made 1 gold t68 is this tru

I think it's ok. There are not much "golds" out there.

1 in a 1000 sounds a bit OTT, but the gold colloured ones are deffenetly rearer than grey.

if you search Loot.com for 'T68 gold' you'll find they often sell for more than their Grey counterparts, on that basis the gold is a better investment if you think about resale value but its still the exact same phone and it depends on if you pay extra for it initially...i have 2 gold 68's, got them both for under the odds from people who werent bothered or didnt know about the colours being rare and increasing the value.

just spoke with a local service center and they say that for every 999 gray they made 1 gold making it 1 in every 1000 t68's they then continued untill they had 1499 gold and then made a real gold t68 which is on show at the main sony ericsson office. i know there is no difference apart from the actual color of the face plate but hey i bought mine sim free from carphone warehouse and is was the same price as the gray

yeah but theat just defeats the object and it wouldnt be real housing unless sumone has a broken gold t68 and is selling it for bits
