I have had my k700i for about a year now, but up till now, I always thought the best way to keep the wear on the battery to a minimum was by charging the phone only when the 'Battery Low' message starts appearing. I recently read something that gives the opposite advice i.e. charging the battery before the message appears. The guy claimed that the newer phones have an optimised battery so the old method isn't necessary.
Which one is right and why?
