@lukebonathan. Sorry mate but I just fitted a ribbon cable and nothing else and camera working 100%.

out of another K750i that I have with no backlight just to try.

Looking fo reasons why the baclight dont work if you got any ideas? (its not the screen tryed another)

ah that makes sense. I once had a backlight gone on a k750i I believe it was the motherboard, I couldnt fix it, but then when I put it back together and switched it on one time it lit up fine, the only thing I can think of was if there is some small amount of waterdamage to the pcb, or one of the sonponents have come off, but it seemed very tempermental
