I am getting one of these cards for free with a laptop I just bought, and was wondering if they are locked to Vodafone and if so, how do I unlock them?
Reason being, I have a contract mobile and dont want to be tied into another contract with Voda (the card has Pay as you use tariff which doesnt work overseas) so I want to use my t-mobile sim in it when I go to Prague.

Thanks!

I can confirm they are locked to vodafone. I had one for a month a few months back (just before getting the JasJar) but gave it back and cancelled my contract because the 3G was too unreliable for my use mostly on the train to an from London. When it lost the 3G signal it took too long to switch back to GPRS

I don't know how to unlock them but I am sure you can because they are sold unlocked on ebay

the PC software that drives the card is fairly vodafone specific so you might want to also consider how you would use the data card taking that into consideration
