How do you copie a music on w800i trough a disc to phone program, without that disc to phone make for each music trax,a new directorie?
Becouse if you have a 100 trax,you get a 100 directories.
I wuld like to have 1 directorie and 100 trax in that directorie.
You can copy the trax from my computer on the w800i,like the w800i is external data disc, but disc to phone converts your music in a simple way, when the program copies music on the phone. |

Have a look at:
The names may be linked to "Album" settings within your TAGs or D2P rip settings...
Change that, so all files you wish to kep in 1 folder have the same "Album" name.

I cann't use D2P as I'm on WinME and my XP doen't have .NET so I cann't advise on options...
I'm not sure what file format D2P uses (MP3) but sometime's a program will create FOLDERS from ALBUM/ARTIST names...
What are the Folders called...
If numbered maybe an option within D2P to prevent/change the way D2P creates or places the converted file. |

The folders are probably make from id3 tag of mp3,but i cannot erase this data in every single mp3.
D2P as i know it,doesnt have any options for including this data or not,or to have any option to select what kind of directories the program makes on w800i.Maybe this folders creates from w800i,but probably not.
I dont know wich einstein comes with an idea that every single mp3 is in a directory. |

Yep! Disc2Phone is using Artist and Album information...
Windows - view properties (right click MP3 file) of MP3 to see TAGs
...CDDB MP3 TAGs etc...
...it defaults to a 2 deep folder structure!
Solutions:
- Edit TAG (not the best solution as you've pointed out)...
- Use a program with more scope!
Try CDex or winLAME for MP3 conversions.
Disc2Phone isn't needed for "MP3's to Phone" just use Windows Explorer (or any Phone Managers) to transfer MP3's.
However if you choose to stick with Disc2Phone ~ why not
Then having the folder structure works well with the phones Media Player playlist feature...
...anyway
I noticed that the program states after it complete:
Transfer complete. You may now remove the memory stick or disconnect the phone from USB.
You should not disconnect phone without first using the "Safely Remove Hardware" Tray Icon.
