Battery meter gone wild! help please |

So i got my new w800i, love it, just that the battery is horrible. It can only charge up to 80% for some reason, and dies really quickly (like 5% after a 2min phone call) Yes i read the battery faq, but this is kinda unreasonable.
My meter is in the red. Anyhow here are my questions:
1) is it just the meter messed up? Will i still get the same amount of hour time to use?
2) is it my phone or my battery?
3) when the meter is really low, does the phone shut off automatically when it detects it low or does it shut off whenever the battery dies?
Thanks all!!! |

Thanks for the welcome!
my firmware is r1n035, plan to update to the new 008. Haven't tried the new battery thing, was wondering if that's a problem you guys encountered. Don't mind if the meter is wrong, but do mind if it kills the time available. Thanks! |

i didnt noticed such bugs when i had w8, i had r1l on ot. if the batt meter is faulty, then there is sg wring with fw, fone or batt itself and u shouldnt ignore it imo. if u have warranty, visit se service and let it check by experts. but such bug could be caused by a faulty charger aswell, so take it with u, if u decide to bring in to the service.
