As the heading says but all the other functions work i'm asking for a friend so i dont have any FW info etc.
Any ideas will it be worth a re flash with the new FW ??

sounds more like a mechanical fault than software. in any case my only advice would be to find his nearest SE service centre and take the phone there for repair. hopefully would be done under warranty. he hasn't dropped it in water recently or any thing like that has he?!

I might suggest that to him as it should be covered by the warrenty.

I have that problem with my K750 back in August, send it back for warranty service. SE got it repaired, but unfortunately, for me, the problem happens again after one month! This time, luck runs out on me. The 2nd time send back to SE, there was a robbery before I could collect my phone.....

Finally, insurance got me another unit of K750!!

Did they tell you what the problem was with the phone or what they had to replace??

Did you install any new applications,themes,even ringtones prior to having this problem?
If so delete them.

I might try the master reset on the phone and flash it to the latest FW if it will allow me to a it is an o2 branded phone.
I'll see how I get on and post back when I have gotten around to it (in between the decorating).
