yes it will work here considering v3 is quadband, if ur using simcard here it should be unlock, but if you plan to activate the roaming feature of cingular dont bother to unlock it. it will work anyway.

@blue - YES! I've thought of buying a UNIT from Cingular then (promo), I thought that it was a PAYG one, unfortunately . . . under plan/contract.

During the process, I've already contacted my celfone technician here if HE can UNLOCK it . . . if ever, and he told me - YES! Price is CHEAP too !

I'm certain that peeps/technicians at Greenhills can help you with this mate. Good luck ! [addsig]

@blueyed; Both the original batch (Silver, Black, Pink, and now light soft blue) Razr V3 (all with VGA cam and NO expandable memory) and the recent V3i are all Quadband phones (the V3i has 1.3MP camera, and expandable TFlash memory upto 512MB at current).

BUT the Vodafone branded or unbrandaded Motorola Razr V3x (with 2MP camera & VGA internal video phone camera & expandable TFlash memory) only will operate on WCDMA 2100mhz & with 1800mhz GPRS/GSM.
