axxxr I agree with your assessment of 1 and 2.

However while I respect J J Abrams efforts on lost and alias, just please don't make MI III too soppy JJ. Lost and Alias are great concepts spoiled by too much soap opera-esque character dramas. Mission Impossible deserves action action action (and then some more action).

I don't want to know anything about how the main character's long lost mother turns up to kill his father who is trying to kill him, then finds out she is really his sister and his mother is the actually the head of the KGB, who then saves him by revealing her identity and is killed, but it turns out she wasn't really killed and was actually just a double agent blah blah blahdy blah.

Here is a exclusive first look at a new clip from MI III.The action packed sequence features Special Agent Ethan Hunt leaning out of side of a car in fast paced car chase.

likewise! just gotta remember to book the tickets 2moro. Btw MI 1&2 were good Sure when i watched 1 i was young and didnt get jack cause it was too confusing...but when i watched it recently...gotta say its a classic movie 2 is more simpler, great stunts, bit draggin tho..and whats the deal with the super realistic masks..ruined it...anyway was ok overall tho. Cant wait to see this one..cheers for the links axxr.

I saw it last night. Thought it was excellent. Slightl romantic edge to the film, but the action scenes made up for it. Slightly darker than the previous ones which were a bit more charlies angels type action COMPARED to this one.

Def worth watching. Tom Cruise def lived up to the role.

Having been a fan of the original TV series i though the first Mission Impossible film was rather good, second one not so good, although i did think it was ok,so if your not a Fan of the genre then i don't recommend it. [addsig]
