Same problem here. It works if I use the PC to start it, but not from the phone.
If I tried to start it from the phone.... the remote will show up. But if I attempt to use it, it keeps saying "Connecting to device". Then it finds my PC "Add to My devices?" When it was already added. Then it goes through that BT pin# sh!t and adds it. But then when I attempt to use it now, it goes throught the WHOLE cycle again. |

same here i have to activate it with the pc everytime. Kinda ruins the purpose of being a remote. Its basically like leaving your tv remote on top of your tv and having towalking up to it and bring it back to change channels. On the topic of hid files i was wondering if there was anyway to make a hid file where you can type using the number keys on the phone. That would be cool

Update your firmware. Earlier firmwares for the K750 suffered from this. I have updated it to R1N and it works fine, pairing from either phone or computer... |

bolo, u say that you can start the remote from phone??? without any help from pc???? i doubt that. what BT drivers you have? i tried on xp sp1 and 2, and same results. So is not the operating sistem. Is the phone. K700 works with bt off, just go to remote and select files, and will start . on k750 i must connect first the pc.

BTW, how do you make an HID file anyways? The only way I got my remote to work is just by screwing around the BT properties.. and for some reason.. it activates the remote.
But I don't even know how to activate the remote from the PC properly. Can someone show me how to make an HID file/icon? |

My k750's remote control feature works just fine.
Drivers are generally a major concern.....if you use xp sp2 better let windows use its own drivers.......once you pair your device go into properties and check the boxes to enable hid profiles and serial port(not required for the remote)......everything should work now. If not, unplug your bluetooth dongle.......in device manager remove your bluetooth device.....restart and then plug it in again and repeat above.
For other drivers make sure you enable hid profiles....... |

I have a built-in Bluetooth within my laptop. My BT mouse works fine though.
Anyways... this is what I tried to do.
- Right click on the BT icon in the system tray
- Bluetooth setup wizard
- (option 1 "I know the service I want to use.... etc")
- Scroll down to the very botton and select "human interface device"
- Then it starts to search for a keyboard or mouse, but then I have to select (show all devices) for the k750i to show up.
- It then finds it, and I select it and press next.
- Then it says "Completeing Bluetooth setup wizard"
Then for some ODD reason, it starts my phone remote automatically. But when I attempt to use it, it keeps REPAIRING my phone. So now it doesn't even work anymore. It connects, but when attempt to move the cursor or any button, it searches for my laptop, and attempts to repair it. ARGGGG. |

Oh, and then when I try to go to "My bluetooth places", I see the icon "mouse & keyboard on k750i", which is the HID file that it created from above.
When I double click, it says "No bluetooth mouse or keyboard found".
All my drivers are windows. |

All i did was add my k750 as a bluetooth and later just enable hid drivers in its properties....that was all.
I dont even get options like "bluetooth setup wizard" and "my bluetooth places" on right clicking the bluetooth icon in the system tray. |

Ok here goes:
1. I plugged in my usb dongle
2. Within seconds xp popped the "found new device" dialogue box and then auto set up my dongle
3. I went to control panel and double clicked the bluetooth settings icon.
4. under the options tab i checked all 4 boxes ie turned discovery on, allowed other devices to connect, enabled alerts for when a new device wants to connect and enabled system tray bluetooth notification icon.
5. Right clicked the bluetooth icon in system tray....clicked on "add a bluetooth device".......search for my k750 successfully........entered pin and k750 was added as bluetooth device.
6. Right clicked the bt icon again.....clicked "show bt devices".....highlighted me phone and clicked properties......under the services tab enabled hid drivers and serial port. Done!!
Hope this helps

Hi,
I'm looking for some help! My K750i Remote Control works with my PC, but all I can do is move the mouse pointer from the phone. The Media Player functions don't seem to work...
Can anyone tell me how to get the Remote Control feature of the phone to operate my PC Media Player?
Thanks!
Andy. |
