Ok the title says it all really. I am a member of various other major sites, and more high profile on them than on here. I know all about n00bs coming on forums and asking pointless questions, but I have just recently got my K700i, and I have had a problem, hopefully someone out there can help.

Basically, when I download my video's to my mobile, all I see on the screen is just a fully black screen, although I can still here the audio.

Anyone know what is wrong, and how I can fix this?

Help will be appreciated greatly.

@dede_dede, welcome to esato mate, you may find this thread useful.

It sounds like the clips are perhaps not encoded for use with the K700.

I encoded them through mpegablex4, they are on my phone, but when I go to watch them I only here the audio, but I see only a blank screen. Is this because the video's I am using are not the right dimesions. (i.e. they are widescreen I think) So do I need to re size the dimensions? If I do, how do I?

Thanks for the help so far.

Try to change the resolution to 176x144 ... The movie can be encoded at the right bitrate .. but if the resolution is higher than 176x144 it will play only the sound and a black screen. Hope this is usefull.

Regards.

Yeah, thanks mate, got it working.

One thing though, once I encode it the video has a little log/banner on the top irght corner saying: "dicas" in balck text behind a white background.

Does anyone know if you can encode it without this appearing?
