I'm using Cingular. Last moth, I called in to unlock my T68 phone. Everything went fine. Then I lend the phone to my brother, he lost it. Got a new T68 ...
Today I called in to unlock this new phone. The rep. refuse to do it, she said that they can unlock only one unit per subscribe phone number as the policy stated. I asked where can I find out about that policy, she said It's internal. I then asked, "what's the point of buying a tri-band phone and being locked in only one network". She hessistantly replied that's just the policy nothing she can help. When I asked for an authorized person who can help me on this. She told me that she's the supervisor (I doubt it).
Cingular sucks, doesn't it? |

yes, Cingular sucks! i had 5 phones unlocked by T-Mobile/Voicestream in a span of 5months... i just email them and tell them my reason. most of them are world-phones, but anyhow, i got 1 8290 unlocked by them...that's GOOD customer service |
