I read somewhere that there is a differents between the UMTS that europe uses and then the ones that will be built in the U.S. is that true. so will the phones from europe be able to work in the U.S.(UMTS wise)?
Also is T-mobile USA going to build a UMTS network?

The only difference is frequncy band. It is 2.1GHz for Eroupe. The future user equipment will be multiband on UMTS.
