NEC has just announced a battery that measures 0.3mm in thickness, it's also flexible and can be recharged in 30 seconds...just imagine the possibilities,wafer thin phones here we come.

Looks like a good "concept" product..
to make it viable, the performance and durability would have to speak for itself.. Coz I have plastic Playing Cards which are taken out less than my fone battz AND are reaally worn out. These battz too would go in "handle with care" category?

Being on wap, cannt check much but would love to know if these could power PDA type devices on its own or would be stacked in layers to form something else
