Hey guys not sure if anyone is clued up on this but I am looking for some firmware for the v3x ideally the generic firmware and not 3 branded or vodafone. Just got my V3X and as this is my first moto I am not 100% sure if there is anything similar to Total Multiserver for MOTO.

Cheers

The only issue I have is the BT issue and it not being able to link with my mac due to it not sending its properties to the mac or pc..probably a fault phone so I got another one on order.

Well if you like me and use a mac then you might find it a little upsetting as I had to bluetooth my address book one by one from my Nokia..not good at all.

Ermm you can edit the moto FW but it requires you to do a wee bit of flex editing.

and its not something id just dive into, i tried to edit a V3 a while ago and fried it

Yeah I have been reading up on the flex stuff and damn its not as straight forward as SE phones. But I do have one guy at 3 who is looking into it thoroughly and has even got back to me on a few occasions to try and resolve this.

Hahah I am sure I will get there for sure, Moto is not that big in Japan so it would be of no use..But so far so good the V3X is pretty good I am quite happy with it for a 3G phone.
