Hi guys,
I just got my k700i. I made themes for it with the SE software, saved them on my webspace and downloaded them via WAP. Got a message saying something about the phone not supporting it, did I still want to download. I selected yes, it downloaded, then straight away it asked me if I wanted to use the theme on the phone. All works fine. Same with mp3s for ringtones and gifs for screensavers.

Now, when I download a .jar file onto my phone, I get the same message "not supported by this phone. download anyway?" BUT if i click yes and it downloads, it just saves it to the Other folder and nothing happens. From there I have no option to install it.

How do i install games downloaded like this? I have no infrared or bluetooth on my laptop to send it from, or a syncstation, so this is the only way I can get the files onto my phone.

Please help! :/

Check the extension of the file. If its .zip or .rar you gotta rename it to .jar. Now when you download it will not say unsupported.

If it doesnt work but you badly want that file send it to any phone via bt or ir and send it back to your phone.

I don't know if the 700 supports this but:

try email attachment or SMS

like I said I don't know if it'll work (don't know about SMS attachments)

actually ~ try jad files up on your web site...

edit a jad to link to the jar

hope it helps
