I'm having trouble transferring files to and from my W800i phone. When I want to add music to the phone, I use the Disc2Phone software, as instructed but sometimes none of the tracks transfer to the phone, sometimes all of them do and sometimes only a few of them do.
When noe have transferred, a message is displayed saying I should use the Disc2Phone software but I have been doing so!!! I'm at a loss

Also, somehow some of my files have been wiped from the phone. This includes photos and music which is really frustrating. This may have happened somehow during my failed muisc file transfer but the photos are now irretrievable.

Please help me!! What is going on and how can I transfer music correctly?

Thanks

I don't know what Disc2Phone is (but can guess)...

I'd just convert whatever you want to (CD -CDA Tracks) to MP3 using standard PC software and then file manage those to you phone:

Memory Stick:\MP3

or

Memory Stick:\MSSEMC\Media files\audio

I just think it not a good idea to have too many Apps trying to connect to your phones drive.

I'll have a look for CD to MP3 free software and get back to you later if someone doen't get there first

Here we go; CDex is nice ~ Free too...

Install
Start CDex
stick an audio CD in
Press F9
look for the MP3 and copy to phone!!!

Even if you get Disc2Phone working ~ check it out

Here are some CD Rippers:

There's also alot of guides at http://www.videohelp.com

Some of the software will/might require a free MP3 plugin (LAME).

of course, Disc2Phone, if running right would also do the job!

Note: Freeware, Addware and Shareware are often found on PC CD/DVD Cover disks...
