Is there a problem with WAP themes on sonyericsson? All of a sudden I can't get any of them to download on O2 or Voda on both a S700 or p910. Have searched here and there and can't find the P910 version of Santa Moon.

I'm feeling festive so if anyone has the utz can they please PM me and where I can get it from or if they're willing to email it.

Thanks in advance

That was quick! Many thanks for that, you're a star.
How did you do that then? I looked for ages for the direct links, could not get it to work. Did you copy the wap link into your browser?

brief explanation just for you

  • go here; http://wap.sonyericsson.com/fun/mxhtml/home?cc=GB&dn=K750i&lc=en
  • change the 'K750i' bit to your phone e.g. P910i
  • thats the wap homepage of on your computers browser!
  • choose what you want, themes in this case
  • select the file you want, you wanted SantaMoon
  • hit download
  • it gives you a .dd file you may now think what the hell do i do with that!
  • open the .dd in notepad or some text editor on your computer
  • you'll see a load of rubbish, but also a link that ends in what you want, in your case .utz
  • copy the link into your web browser, hit enter
  • then it downloads the file
  • send it to your phone and smile

simple when you know how hey!! [addsig]

GPRS / WAP costs money, my broadband's unlimited so why not find a way to use that rather than paying money on browsing costs for my phone! it works well doesn't it, plus its about x100 times quicker this way than on WAP [addsig]
