i bough a se w600 and i am confused |

ok so i get a busness discount from cingular. and i was gonna buy a phone. they said that with m dicount a w 600 costs 180 and a s710 costs 200. does any1 else see the akwardness in this, can any1 tell me in which way is the w600 worse then the s71o |

IMO itīs more like - do you want a tarted up Civic (W600) or a subtle elegant BMW (S700)

S710 have better build quality, better and larger screen, and better camera, on other hand w600 can be used as mp3 player, its smaller and is cheaper so depends of your needs

The S700 can be used as an mp3 player too! You're just limited to 128MB memsticks! |

S700 is not really useable as mp3 player becouse you are limited to max 128MB stick (in package you get 32MB) and in my country (i assume in other also) you get in package a mono headset (free hands)

I could swear you get a stereo headset with it just like the k700? Sorry if I'm wrong... But it's been more than a year since i had my s700!? And you can easily over come the problem of 128MB memory by using more than one stick! You just need some thing to carry them in

Whenever SE makes a S910a version of it which would either be quadband (we can only hope but probably not) or have 850mhz instead of 900 and have 850mhz UMTS instead of 1900/2100. The phone would have to be made specifically for Cingular (becoming AT&T again in a month) because they are the only ones in the US with a UMTS GSM network, and currently no phones to go on it. I'm hoping that SE and Cingular will strike a deal for the W9x0 so that I can finally have a phone with decent reception wherever I go. I'm currently using a K750i and I find it difficult to make phone calls with it from several indoor locations around town, where as 'true' Cingular phone (or one that has the 850mhz frequency) has no problems.
Someone mentioned that the S700/s710 has better camera than the W600 - not quite sure I follow -bot have a 1.3mp camera, if anything the w600 might have a newer sensor. |

Yeah, I have a w800i and i'm having the same problem as you are. When i was on AT&T my k700 was working without a problem, but as soon as the Cingular buy out my phone went to crap. I wish SE would make their top end phones with the 850mhz freq. 
THis is the second time i've heard someone say that Cingular is going to become AT&T...What's the sorry on that?
