How to transfer themes to phone? |

I`ve just downloaded some of the free themes from this site into my SE theme creator and the big question is how do I transfer these onto my phone, can it be done via a dongle of is it done with the cable. Can`t see an option in the list to D/L to phone. Many thanks

you can download the themes via wap, usb cable, infra red, bluetooth. you need to have a cable, dongle or ir cable in order to transfer it and you also need to use a program like fma to transfer to phone. do you have any of the cables? if not download from your mobile via wap

you dont need the themecreator for anything except to create or edit themes.
To put the themes on the phone simply copy the downloaded .thm file into the themes folder either on the usb stick or the phones internal memory using fileexplorer. This you can do using the supplied usb cable, or you can transfer via IRDA or Bluetooth in which case they will be placed there automatically.
the themefolder is located under:
\MSSEMC\Media files\theme\

Cheers for the replies but, how to I copy the themes.? Don`t see an option to do this

Can you please elaborate upon what you mean when you say you cannot see an option to copy the theme file?
What phone are you using and was it supplied with a CD containing a suite of applications for your PC? |

I`ve got a k750i and the all I really want to know is how do I transfer the pics to my phone. If you look to your left on the home page you`ll see the option "free themes", so how do i transfer these to my phone. |

when you connect you phone to your pc the pc will detect it and you can open your files in the pc then drag and drop the themes to the \themes section of the files

Just go to wap.esato.com with your phone, then download straight from the wapsite.... |

If he allready downloaded them to pc, theres not really any need to spend money on gprs by downloading them via wap once again.

What is it you dont understand about the instructions allready given to you ?
You have downloaded a .thm file which is the theme, this you have saved some place on your computer. Go to that folder, and select the .thm file and select "copy"
Then connect the usb cable to the phone, and connect the other end of the usb cable to your computer. Open my computer, and you will now have a new removable drive which is the memorystick of your phone. Open this drive, there will be a folder called MSSEMC, open that folder and you will see a new folder called Media Files, open that folder and you will see another folder called theme, open that folder and "paste" the .thm file you copied from the folder on your pc into this folder.
Disconnect the USB cable, and you can now select the new theme on your phone, by going to themes in the fileexplorer on your phone, select the new theme, and select install
