My first on this board was about the same problem you guys describing, except I had this problem right when I received the phone. In my case I could turn on the phone with a brand new battery, charge it overnight and having only about 2 hours of stanby time before it died. (without even making any calls, or playing around). After the battery died I've had the same symptoms ...not being able to charge or turn on the phone. and just the screen was flashing.
Thinking that I've had a bad battery I ordered a new one, put the brand new battery in , the phone turned on fine. After charging it again the phone died in the matter of a few hours and wouldn't turn on again. I've sent the phone back to the e-bay seller who sent me a new one. I assume I've had a short curcuit in the phone that was keep draining the battery, and the same short curcuit must have killed my battery completely...weird about this batteries not having any protection towards electrical shorts inside. My advice would be that try to get a new battery and see if the phone starts up with it...and see if it drains battery faster then it should. And your original battery sorry to say probably won't work anymore. Keep me informed about your results. Good luck!

Hi, visit this thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=108939&start=30

The solution was posted by me 2 days ago. This problem occurs because of a corrupt GDFS.
