Changin my tarriff |

Ive got a major problem, I ordered a p910i when it prety much first came on sale under an 18month contract... now the company I bought it from (some website) gave me a 6 month half price line rental offer, which has now expired. Instead of getting £25 bills, they are around £50 a month.
Now this company said that you are only allowed to change tarriff (T-mobile) after 12 months, which means another few months of paying£50 a month!!!
What I want to know is if this is actually true. Surely the contract is between myself and T mobile, and will this company know if I change my tarriff and then charge me the extra or the penalty fine, or are the simply trying to scare me into staying on a higher tarriff so that their commission from t mobile stays high?
Anyone been in the same position? and know whether I HAVE TO stay on this higher tarriff?
Cheers

I would suggest that you call (edit) T-mobile and ask them whether you can change your tarriff. Doesn't sound like you have any other option mate.

I'm pretty sure that T-Mobile itself no longer allows tariff downgrades for 12 months. And yes, that would be pretty much regardless of which shop you bought your phone from, because T-Mobile handles all the billing itself. |
