for se phones i use MyPhoneExplorer Version 1.2.13 from
http://members.aon.at/fwechsel/ very simple to use |

I use only Sony Ericsson PC Suite. That's enough.

PCsuite wont let you do any of the things you can do with
MyPhoneExplorer Version 1.2.13 from
http://members.aon.at/fwechsel/
By far the best, easiest, and most stable phonemanagement software for SE phones.
Lets you do complete backups, sms writing on computer, sms archiving on computer, double the transferspeed of the seriel emulation to the phonememory, contactediting, calendar with recurring events, and much more.

I use MyPhoneExplorer as well. For the main reason that I can't get floAt's mobile agent to connect to my phone. I heard that it's better if you get it to work though...
Regarding S/W for Nokia, I have no idea....
