I just received a 128 Memory Stick Duo for my S710a, but I cannot seem to take any pictures or play any mp3s from it. I get a message in viewfinder mode that says "Memory Stick Error." I looked at the Memory Stick that came with the phone and noticed it has a particular file structure, so I attempted to copy that file structure to the new one. I still had the same problem. Then I tried using the memory stick formatter that comes with the phone (quick format and normal format), but all it did was clear the stick (I realize that's what a format does, but I expected it to also make it ready for use in the phone). I even tried the newest version of the formatter that was available on Sony Ericsson's website, but I still cannot use the memory stick in my phone. Any ideas? |
