Made a search on www.pricerunner.com and compared the pricing on the 7210 and the 6610, and i noticed that the 6610 is somewhat cheaper than the 7210, (about 40 € )how can this be?
They are supposed to be the same phone except the design, or is this wrong.

This is pretty important to me because i´m going to buy one of them.

Most likely it will be the 6610 because it has a more classy look, and more ergonomic buttons. (they are really beutiful to press, just a little touch is required)

But if the 6610 has slower GPRS than the 7210 or something like that, then i will buy the 7210.

They are on different market segments.
Like 8310 and 6510.

And it was in mobil.se yesterday: they are available in a couple of weeks.

7210 is made whit lighter matirials and they cost more and they think the 7210 will sell much.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

No they are not released yet, but according to www.mobil.se they will be out within two weeks.

Btw, what do you mean with lighter materials? .. theyre both made of plastic, and they both have x-press on covers ..
I doubt that one plasticmaterial is lighter than another? .. or?

its like the T28 and t29 they are bought made of other materials.
and its alsow the size that matterz the bigger the phone the bigger the chip moduels can be and so its cheaper. the smaller the expenciever.
the T66 and T600 are cheap but very small, but thats because of limited features.

Well .. if we put it this way then.

How often do you really use the bluetoothfunction in your phone?

I would think that approx 1 out of 20 really uses it ..

yes Johan.
There are some mobile users who do use Bluetooth, but the majority doesn't actually use it.
And there are those who like to say they have a Bluetooth phone, although they don't use it. You know, like this nice sticker some put at the back of their car Like a Lada 16V, 6 cylinders

However, Bluetooth is increasing, and it's a very good thing! because people will realize in a near future: "How come I could live without it earlier?!?!"

Anyway, I personally prefer a integrated FM radio, that I could listen to while commuting, than a bluetooth function! Especially, since there is infrared for wireless connections to PC's.

I totally agree, bluetooth in present time is to unusual and far to excpencive for the average user.

I believe it will take quite some time before the bluetooth-standard hits the world.

IRDA will take you far enough.

And like you, i prefer the internal handsfree, java, and the radioreciever above a bluetoothfunction that i never have and will use.

Im looking forward to the release of the Nokia 72 and 6610.

I agree, it looks much more classy in a way.

And the buttons are a little bit more ergonomic than the 72 =)

But still, noone has yet confirmed if there is any difference between the two.. 7210 and 6610 that is!

Any updates anyone?

Let me just confirm. 7210 and 6610 are virtually identical. The only place they differ is the design. If 6610 is cheaper than 7210 then I think I will get the 6610 for my sister as she will love it as her birthday is coming up in November. However, if 7210 is cheaper, then I will still get the 6610 for her

Who needs JAVA when you have an IPAQ? In fact, the T68 goes perfectly with the IPAQ considering both have bluetooth. I agree that JAVA zould be great on any phone, but seriously, do you really needed it? Oooo, you can download cool games, oh boy! Not really an important feature, even if you could make the phone view HTML, the screen is just too damn small to view website graphics.

The only real use I see for JAVA on a phone is using instant messaging service such as ICQ. If made there phones support such messaging services on there phones without JAVA, I would be really happy.
