mine is the more humble, but utterly gorgeous bread and butter pudding! Mmmmm
and if deserts aern't allowed on the list it is fillet steak, cook rare, in a redwine and peppercorn sauce - heaven!

In India are so many regions and atleast one dish per state is outstanding. Tough to single out. Still the best is home made DOSAs and FILTERED COFFEE.

I'm quite glad this thread came up actually because I'm off to Goa for two weeks over christmas.
Anybody got any suggestions for any particularly good food / snacks / drinks I should look out for over there? From what I've read, the cuisine is quite diverse so I'd appreciate some suggestions
I like hot 'n' spicy stuff, the missus prefers milder stuff.

so many dishes:
my mum's tuna casserole
chicken curry rice and chips
chicken fajicas (i know i spelt that wrong)
duck and pancakes with hoi sin sauce
chicken fried rice
barbeque ribs
anything with chicken
yorkshire puddings
and the list goes on.......
