I have T65 dutch version, which also support english, danish, french, or better i think it is the benelux version.

what interesting is the mobile is also capable of dispalying some chinese characters, like "9ÔÂ18ÈÕÏÂÎç" (the afternoon of sepember 18th). For most chinese characters, it brings me in the way of a block.

the question is, is your mobile the same? to check this, see the wap site at wap.hko.gov.hk, enter the page linked by "chinese", then choose something randomly, you get blocks mostly, but maybe you will also see some correct chinese characters.

another issue: is there any possibility to make this phone completely compatible with chinese?

My T39 only shows 2 characters. The rest is shown in blocks. Also I think it is not possible to upgrade the phone to a chinese version. Simply because the service centers will only give upgrades in the native language.
