1) In the incall menu in k700i, there is an option 'Turn off tones'.
What is it for?
2) When i make a call there is a 'ping' and the screen says 'ciphering off' and a symbol of an exclamation mark is seen. I went through the manual for icon description. It says 'This icon is displayed when ciphering is not supported by your network provider'. But nowhere i could find what is ciphering. What is it?
Cheers!! |

Silent? You mean the ringtones and all? But how can that be? There is no ringtone for second call when already in call? |

The tones thing is for the dtmf signal transmitted with each key press.
Ciphering is encoding. Thought it wap usual for all digital networks to use encoded transmissions though.
