D600 USB? |

I have got one of the new samsung d600's and i have been trying to put some mp3's onto it, but when i plug the usb into my computer and into my phone and open up the usb software on the computer it says my samsung d600 is not connected! And when i click connect nothing happens! whats wrong? what do i do? |

Well, as this is an SE forum, i cant realy give you a reply that helps you as im not in the know with d600's. Just make sure you have installed the cable if you need to. Try re-installing all software on your pc, or restart your pc, to complete instalations.

have you set the usb up on your d600 ? Goto settings , then phone settings, then USB settings. Set it to mass storage and it should work. You might need a memory card in as well .

I have uninstalled the software and then re-installed it again, i have also changed the settings on my phone but still no difference! |

I had the same problem, after installing all software and even rebooting.
but finally I succeeded, here is how:
changed usb settings in phone as described by the other person above, won't hurt.
then when I unplugged and REplugged the usb cable into pc i reacted to windows note " new hardware found" in that I let the windows program search for the driver of the new hardware component. this made the samsung cd rotate again... and something additional got installed (in windows directory...system...). and after that (what seemed to be installation of additional software components) it worked!
